About Islamic Society of Greater Houston

The Islamic Society of Greater Houston is the largest Islamic society in North America. It was established in 1969 in the heart of Houston Texas and currently includes 21 Islamic Centers. Our aim is to serve the Muslims of Houston and, along with other faith based communities, be a beacon of light to illuminate and serve our city.

ISGH is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is registered in the State of Texas.

Our vision is to provide religious and social services to all Muslims and to provide channels of understanding and communication between Muslims and the Houston community in general. We aim to live our vision by providing a variety of services that range from educational, to charitable, social and religious services.
